Massachusetts House of Representatives Passes Sweeping Omnibus Gun Safety Bill

On Oct. 18th, the Mass. House passed a sweeping gun safety “Omnibus” bill and then on Feb. 1st the Mass. Senate passed its own version of a gun safety bill. The next step is to reconcile the differences between the two bills in a Conference Committee, with three members from each of the two chambers. These three members will be each chambers’ lead negotiators on the issue.
The House has appointed its Conference Committee Members:
